Mohamed Salah had zero doubts when asked to pick between Argentina icons Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi.
Salah sat down with France Football and gave a wide-ranging interview about his legendary Liverpool career.
He revealed the 'tension' with one of his former Liverpool teammates before selecting the greatest left-footed player in history.

The Egyptian, one of the best left-footed players in world football, opted for Premier League legend Ryan Giggs over James Rodriguez and Riyad Mahrez, citing 'longevity'.
But he sided with Angel Di Maria, who played for the likes of Man United and Paris Saint-Germain, over Giggs as well as former Real Madrid duo Gareth Bale and Mesut Ozil, not to mention Arjen Robben.
Antoine Griezmann popped up, with Salah picking the Atletico Madrid star over Di Maria.
Salah also went for Griezmann over Barcelona great Hristo Stoichkov before picking Rivaldo, who won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002.

Rivaldo vs. Maradona was then put to Salah, who picked the late, great Argentine.
Maradona was then paired with fellow countryman Messi as Salah didn't hesitate, choosing the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner.
And, finally, Salah picked Messi over himself in an amusing moment.

"It’s not in my hands, but obviously, one day I would like to win the Ballon d’Or for my people," he said. "When you come from a village in Egypt, as a child, it’s difficult to dream of the Ballon d’Or.
"It was when I came to Liverpool that I started to think that, maybe, one day... But if I don’t win it, my career will still be successful"
