Michael Owen has predicted the FULL 2023/24 Premier League table and he's made some big calls ahead of the new season.

The new Premier League season gets underway next Friday as defending champions Manchester City face Vincent Kompany's Burnley.

The opening weekend also sees Arsenal take on Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United face Aston Villa and a huge clash between Chelsea and Liverpool.

Ahead of the first set of fixtures in the 2023/24 league campaign, TNT Sports pundit Owen has predicted for the full table, and he's thrown up some interesting calls.

He predicts Man City to win the league ahead of Arsenal while backing his former sides Liverpool and Manchester United to complete the top four.

He reckons Chelsea will finish in fifth place ahead of Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Brighton.

It seems Owen doesn't like Tottenham's chances in the upcoming season, predicting Ange Postecoglou's team to claim ninth place ahead of Brentford. That'd be another underwhelming campaign for Spurs, who finished in eighth place last season.

In the other end of the table, the ex-Real Madrid forward predicts Luton, Sheffield United and Wolves to be relegated from the Premier League. That's two of three newly-promoted teams as he's backed Burnley to stay in the top flight following a stellar campaign under Kompany in the Championship last season.
