The fixture between Arsenal and Manchester United at the MetLife Stadium is a sell-out and will generate record revenues for a club game.

Arsenal and Man United, who both have American owners, are in the US for their pre-season tour ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

The Gunners kicked off their Stateside venture with a resounding 5-0 win over the MLS all-stars on Thursday.

As for Erik ten Hag's side, they begin their American journey against the North London outfit.

The showdown between the two Premier League clubs takes place in New York on Saturday.

The MetLife Stadium, home to NFL sides New York Giants and New York Jets, will host the high-profile clash and organisers have confirmed the game is a sell-out and will generate record revenues for a club game at the ground, according to Simon Stone.

An 82,000-strong crowd is expected for the match, with merchandise sales expected to generate a big income.

Tickets for the game range from $160 (£125) to a whopping $1,506 (£1,172).

The expected attendance for Arsenal vs. Man United will dwarf the crowd for Manchester City vs. Liverpool back in July 2018.

Man City vs. Liverpool attracted 52,000 fans when they met a few years ago at the same ground.

The average attendances of both the Giants and Jets for the 2022 NFL season were 78,009 and 76,474 respectively, highlighting the appetite for football in the US.

After playing the Red Devils, Mikel Arteta's team will take on Barcelona at the SoFi Stadium in California before returning home for the Emirates Cup.

Man United, on the other hand, face Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund during their US tour.
