The United Strand Reacts to Luke Littler Message as Man Utd Win Third Straight Game

Manchester United have beaten Brighton and Hove Albion.

The United Strand has reacted to Luke Littler's message after Manchester United's win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

On Saturday evening, United produced yet another encouraging performance as they got the better of Brighton at Old Trafford.

A brace from Bryan Mbeumo, plus goals from Matheus Cunha and Casemiro, secured a vital 4-2 win. Danny Welbeck and Charalampos Kostoulas were the scorers for the visitors.

As a result, Ruben Amorim's men moved up to fourth place in the Premier League table, having amassed 16 points from nine matches.

In addition, United are now on a three-match winning streak, which The United Strand will be keeping a close eye on.

Red Devils fan, Frank Ilett, also known as The United Strand, embarked on a challenge of not cutting his hair until United win five matches in a row.

385 days have gone by since the challenge began, Frank is potentially just two matches away from a long-awaited haircut.

Following United's win over Brighton, darts superstar Littler posted on Instagram and sent Frank a message, stating that a haircut could soon be on the horizon for him.

In response, Frank reposted Littler's story and wrote: "Come Onnn!!!"

Speaking after the match, Mbeumo, who netted a brace, said: "Honestly so good. The atmosphere is crazy here. The fans are unbelievable and it's always good to score goals and especially here.

"I enjoy it a lot here. It hasn't been easy at the start. It's a new environment, a new expectation but I think with the automatism, with the link up with the team, I think everything is going the right way."

He added: "The work we put in, the effort, the togetherness we give on the pitch is key and after we try to stick to the plan and we try to play as best as possible."

United are back in Premier League action next weekend when they take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on November 1.
