Fallon Sherrock will compete in her sixth World Championship later this year thanks, in part, to Beau Greaves following her landmark win over Luke Littler.
It has been a week to remember for Greaves, who booked her place at next month's Winmau World Youth Championship final following a dramatic 6-5 victory over Luke Littler, who averaged 107.4.
The 21-year-old, from Doncaster, also secured her World Championship qualification via the Development Tour last weekend, as the 2025 season concluded in Wigan.
For those unaware, the three highest-ranked players on the 2025 Women’s Series circuit qualify by right for the much-anticipated event at London's Alexandra Palace.

And with current leader Beau Greaves having secured her qualification via the Development Tour, second-place Fallon Sherrock is unable to drop outside of the qualifying positions and has therefore qualified.

After her World Championship spot was confirmed, Sherrock reacted to the news on social media. "Really pleased to be going back to Ally Pally," she wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "See you all there!"
Fallon Sherrock will take break from darts in 2026
Sherrock, who has been a pioneering figure in the game since becoming the first woman to win a match at the World Championship in 2019, says she will take a break from darts in 2026 for health reasons.

The 31-year-old has struggled with kidney problems for more than a decade.
"About six months after I had my little boy in April 2014, I ended up getting a kidney disease," Sherrock told The Sun. "I started to feel unwell. I didn’t know what was going on until I was diagnosed.
"It was a worrying time. I started taking medication to weaken my immune system because that is what was attacking my kidneys.
"The problem was when I went on different medication, I suffered side effects which caused “moon face”, where my face swelled up. It was a reaction."

She continued: "When I played in the BDO worlds on TV, I received a lot of criticism for how I looked. If I saw negative comments I tried to look past them. I’m not going to dwell on what someone has said if it doesn’t affect my life.
"I think that attitude helps to strengthen my character. When I play on stage, I have to drink a glass of water. I’m constantly drinking a lot of water to flush my kidneys out. That helps my body."
The World Championship gets underway from December 11.
