Luke Littler Reacts After Beau Greaves Targeted by Vile Comment From Troll

Luke Littler was beaten by Beau Greaves on Monday.

Luke Littler has hit back at an online troll who aimed a vile comment at Beau Greaves.

On Sunday night, Littler won the World Grand Prix in Leicester after thrashing Luke Humphries 6-1 in the final.

The teenager has now won seven major titles live on TV since announcing himself on the world stage two years ago.

Following his win over Humphries, Littler confirmed that he would take part in the World Youth Championship in Wigan on Monday.

However, Littler was beaten at the semi-final stage by Greaves, who is the world number one in the women's rankings.

Despite averaging 107, Littler fell to a 6-5 defeat to Greaves, who herself recorded a stunning average of 105.

The 21-year-old will now take on reigning champion Gian van Veen in the World Youth Championship final at Butlin's in Minehead on November 23.

Following her victory over Littler, Greaves was targeted by online trolls, with one person writing: "We dont need this. Women should not compete with men, no matter how good they are."

In response, Littler said: "Are you high?"

Taking to his own Instagram story, Littler also wrote: "I had 2 10 dart legs missed d12 for a nine and still couldn't win.

"Fair play to "beau_greaves all the best in Minehead. Some talent."

Looking ahead, Greaves is expected to accept a PDC Tour card for 2026 - 2027.

Speaking recently, the men's world number one, Humphries, backed Greaves to flourish on the big stage.

He said: "I think she's an amazing player and she deserves it. I predict that she'll flourish playing in it [PDC ProTour].

"She's been a really great player on the secondary tours this year. She's good on the challenge tour, good on the development tour and she'll be a real threat going forward for all the players. Not just for me but for everyone."

Humphries added: "I think she'll do really well. If she's relaxed and she's got no pressure on her shoulders yes, I believe she will be top 64 within the two years for sure."
