Roy Keane went in on a Manchester United player in his latest scathing assessment following the Red Devils' defeat to Aston Villa.
After a pulsating 4-4 draw at home to Bournemouth on Monday, United looked to return to winning ways against an in-form Villa side in Sunday's afternoon kick-off.
But they fell to a 2-1 defeat after Morgan Rogers came up with a stunning double for Unai Emery's men, who have now won 10 games in a row and are just three points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.
Matheus Cunha was on target with an equaliser for United, who saw captain Bruno Fernandes forced off with a first-half injury that could see him on the sidelines for a considerable period.
Former skipper Keane was on punditry duty for Sky Sports and as expected, did not hold back with his post-match opinions.
The Irishman had plenty to say but at one point it was Diogo Dalot who caught a stray when Keane claimed that there are United players who "just don't do enough".
Dalot was criticised by Keane after the game. Image: Getty "You can have all the talent in the world," Keane began.
"We've mentioned it time and time again but you've got to roll your sleeves up and when the game gets a bit tight there's moments where you go, 'I'm just going to do my bit for the team. "There's too many players, like Dalot, that just don't do enough.
"I won't use the word cheating but they're not just doing enough. And after the game I'd be looking at him - I wouldn't be looking at other bits of the game.
"Same for the first goal when Rogers gets the ball wide. We're all sitting there and we know there's danger. Do they not know there's danger?"
Fernandes' injury added to Kobbie Mainoo's absence at Villa Park, with three academy stars named on the bench for United.
Jack Fletcher and Shea Lacey both made their debuts for the club and could feature prominently in the upcoming fixtures given the shortage of options, with three players unavailable to the Africa Cup of Nations.
Lacey made his United debut on Sunday. Image: Getty "This is the time when opportunities come for other players and you have to step up and show you deserve to be in the team and play more minutes," Dalot told Sky Sports post-match.
"I think that's how the players who get opportunities need to look at it."
United find themselves seventh in the league after 17 games and are three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea after they drew 2-2 with Newcastle.
The Magpies are United's next opponents, travelling to Old Trafford on Boxing Day.
