Rasmus Hojlund 'obsessed' with food that has helped him become Man Utd's star man

Rasmus Hojlund 'obsessed' with food that has helped him become Man Utd's star man

Hojlund can't go without his sweet treat.

Rasmus Hojlund's private professional chef has revealed the Manchester United star is 'obsessed' with one particular sweet treat that he has to have multiple times a week.

Jonny Marsh is a professional chef who also caters to a variety of footballers such as Aaron Ramsey, Kyle Walker, and Kevin De Bruyne alongside United's Danish striker.

Marsh is a chef with Michelin star training and every single meal he produces is tailor-made for each player, so it's no surprise he has managed to build up his portfolio of high-profile clientele.

As mentioned, one of the more notable names on the list is 21-year-old Premier League newcomer Hojlund.

The United man had a difficult start to life in the Premier League and only scored his first league goal against Aston Villa on Boxing Day after drawing blanks for the opening months of the season.

Since breaking his duck he has scored in the five consecutive league games for Erik ten Hag's men, including a brace at Luton which remains his most recent appearance due to injury.

Despite his worrying start domestically Hojlund's performances in the Champions League helped calm any nerves as he managed to bag himself five goals in the group stages.

Hojlund might have his personal chef to thank for his improvement in form, as Marsh revealed in his most recent Instagram video he makes Hojlund a fair share of sweet treats every single week.

"Then I make the banana bread, this is a request from Rasmus and he is absolutely obsessed with it, I probably make two of them a week at least he goes through them like mad," Marsh explained.

Luckily, Hojlund's diet doesn't just consist of banana bread with the £70m man also getting a delicious looking chicken tikka curry accompanied with homemade naan bread.

Hojlund's diet isn't the only one shown off on Marsh's Instagram account, which boasts over 300,000 followers as there are multiple detailed videos of how his other footballing clients fuel themselves ahead of game day.
