The top 10 most expensive Premier League teams to follow have been revealed, but surprisingly Manchester United are not among them.

The Premier League is undoubtedly the best league in the world, with the best players and coaches going head-to-head on a weekly basis.

It is also the richest league in the world, but despite its commercial might, savings are not being passed onto match-going supporters.

Following a Premier League club has never been more expensive, and now the biggest culprits have been revealed.

A study by BestGamblingSites.com has revealed the most affordable Premier League teams to watch. Each team has received an affordability score out of 100, with the lowest score being the most expensive.

Each score took into account average matchday ticket prices, average season ticket prices, matchday food cost (price of a pint, tea and pie together), the price of parking and membership cost (per year).

Tottenham Hotspur came out as the most expensive team to watch, with an affordability score of 19.45. Their North London rivals Arsenal are the second dearest, with a score of 28.5.

The study has revealed that West Ham - third in the overall ranking with a score of 34.17 - has the most expensive food in the Premier League, with the price of a pint, tea and pie together being £14.25.

Fulham - fourth in the rankings with a score of 41.34 - have the most expensive season tickets in the country, with a whopping average price of £1,798.

In terms of individual match tickets, Hammers supporters are paying the most. The average ticket price at the London Stadium is £75, despite the fact they finished 14th in the table last season.

Perhaps surprisingly, Manchester United are not among the top 10 most expensive Premier League sides to watch.

United finished 15th in the overall ranking with an affordability score of 66.38. Average ticket prices at Old Trafford are £47, while the cost of food (£9.20) is among the cheapest.

The Glazers have earned a reputation for squeezing money out of supporters, but it appears that other clubs have followed their lead and surpassed them.

The full top 10 rankings are as follows:

Tottenham Hotspur (19.45), Arsenal (28.5), West Ham United (34.17), Fulham (41.34), Chelsea (49.98), Aston Villa (50.53), Manchester City (51.68), Crystal Palace (57.15), Everton (58.16), Brentford (58.74).
