Paul Pogba sends Man Utd fans wild with cryptic social media posts ahead return to football

Paul Pogba posted a cartoon of him and a current Manchester United star on social media.

Paul Pogba has sent Manchester United fans into meltdown after uploading a couple of cryptic posts on social media ahead of his return to football.

Pogba's four-year doping ban was slashed to 18 months following an appeal last year.

He's currently without a club, having terminated his Juventus contract last November.

The 31-year-old is free to play again from March as he hopes to join a club this month.

Ahead of potentially returning to action, Pogba took to Instagram on Monday to post not one but two cryptic posts, hinting at a third spell with Man United.

He shared a cartoon of him and Amad Diallo stood next to each other in Man United shirts, accompanied with a laughing face emoji.

The Frenchman then uploaded a photo of him overlooking Miami from a skyscraper with the caption: "Let's see what's coming."

Needless to say, Pogba's posts sent Man United fans online into overdrive as they talked up a potential transfer, referencing a potential link-up with Amad in Ruben Amorim's system.

One X user wrote: "Him and Amad in those 10s."

A second tweeted: "We need him, even for 6 months, i won’t mind."

A third argued: "Nah, we don’t need Pogba, he is washed."

A fourth commented: "Pogba on a free is not bad."

Another said: "That Pogba-Amad-Mazrizzy linkup play down the right hand side."

Pogba has already been on Man United's books, having had two spells at the club after graduating from the youth academy.

He only made seven appearances during his first spell before returning to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016.

The star midfielder joined Man United from Juve for a then-world record fee of £89.3 million.

He played 226 games across all competitions in his second spell, helping the Red Devils win the Europa League and the EFL Cup.

Pogba re-signed with Juve in the summer of July 2022 but failed to make a huge impression, blighted with a series of injuries.
