Amad Diallo sends Man Utd fans wild with reply to social media post 'mocking' Liverpool player

Fans loved what Amad Diallo posted following the game.

Amad Diallo has sent Manchester United fans wild with a social media reply poking fun at one Liverpool star following their 2-2 draw at Anfield.

Diallo was the United hero yet again against Liverpool, as the 22-year-old grabbed a vital equaliser following on from his last-gasp winner in last season's FA Cup.

Despite coming into the game on the back of four straight defeats, Amorim may be slightly disappointed to only take a point away from Anfield after dominating the game in large periods.

The defining moment came with almost the last kick of the game, as Harry Maguire's effort from close range flew over Allison's crossbar with seconds to go.

Goalscorer Diallo, has been key to the small amounts of success Amorim has had at Old Trafford, with the Ivorian becoming undroppable on the right-hand side.

The 22-year-old put in a fine display, holding the ball up excellently and winning fouls when needed.

One particularly notable incident with Andy Robertson saw Diallo shush the Scottish international after he won a free-kick following excessive shirt pulling.

Diallo rubbed salt in Robertson's wounds following the match, with a brutal dig to the Liverpool defender underneath a photo of the incident posted by United captioned: "Everyone wants our third shirt ;)."

The wing-back replied with a gif featuring United captain Bruno Fernandes, and fans online loved the banter from Sunday's goalscorer.

"Great game yesterday Amad wish I was one of those players trying to take your shirt it’s the only shirt I need this season," one fan commented.

Another added: "Owning them off the field too."

A third commented: "Bro owns loserpool for a living."

Diallo has become a fan favourite at Old Trafford, and what he did over the new year proved exactly why he has become so popular.

On December 31, he posted a black and white photo of himself with his head in his hands, accompanied by the caption: “A very difficult year, apologising is not enough... but you have supported us and continued to do so throughout all this time... thank you…”
