Manchester United fan Mark Goldbridge has made a huge claim about Mason Mount after spotting what he did over the weekend.

Man United suffered their latest setback against Fulham, who won their FA Cup fifth round clash to book their spot in the quarter-finals.

The Red Devils played out a 1-1 draw with their fellow Premier League opponents, with Marco Silva's side winning the tie on penalties following their 4-3 victory.

The Europa League is now Man United's only chance of silverware this season, having been knocked out of the FA Cup.

Naturally, Man United fans weren't pleased with their team's performance as they directed their anger at one of their star players.

Goldbridge also hit out at Mount, who has been out of action since December following his injury.

Mount met up with several of his ex-Chelsea teammates, including Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Jorginho.

Images of his catch up emerged on social media as Man United fans, including Goldbridge, made their feelings known.

Goldbridge wrote: "Socially in his spare time is absolutely fine. The bigger issue I still see him as a Chelsea player after two years being paid by us and that's shocking."

Another Man United supporter said: "Mount is part of the player United need to offload next season."

A second said: "Absolutely embarrassing. Terminate his contract along with Shaw."

A third fumed: "Lmfao I can’t even explain how much I dislike this guy. Chelsea scammed us differently."

A fourth added: "Leave immediately."

Another commented: "Need to be sold ASAP."

Mount, who joined Man United from Chelsea for £55 million, has made just 13 appearances in an injury-hit campaign this season.

He has struggled for fitness during his time at Old Trafford, having only played 20 games last season.

The 26-year-old came off injured against Manchester City last December and his return date is unclear.
