Manchester United fan and YouTuber Mark Goldbridge has been slammed following an incident during the Chelsea match.

On Saturday evening, United returned to Premier League action as they hosted Chelsea at Old Trafford.

During what was an eventful clash at The Theatre of Dreams, Chelsea saw Robert Sanchez sent off inside five minutes before Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro gave United a 2-0 lead.

Just before half-time, it was 10 vs 10 as Casemiro was red-carded for two bookable offences.

Trevoh Chalobah made it 2-1 in the 80th minute, but United held on for a vital victory to end Chelsea's unbeaten start to the campaign.

During the post, Goldbridge was slammed for what he said about a ball boy.

The start of play was delayed as all the balls were not in play, a frustrated Goldbridge said: "For **** sake, we'll be all day with this kid. What is going on here? Why are we not starting the game there is a ball not in place."

Reacting to Goldbridge's comment, one fan said: "This is a man that labels himself and his channel the voice of United fans worldwide. This type of hate does not represent our club."

Another tweeted: "Dont need to bully a kid to be funny mate."

A third fan added: "Millions of subscribers. Millions of viewers. Ridiculing a child online."

Someone else wrote: "What a horrible thing to say."

A fifth commented: "Very bad look for him. Making fun of a kid."

Another fan said: "It's really disgusting to talk *** to a young kid like that."

SPORTbible has contacted Mark Goldbridge's representatives for comment.

As a result of their victory, United moved up to 10th place in the Premier League table, eight points off leaders Liverpool.

The Red Devils are back in Premier League action next weekend when they take on Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
