Manchester United influencer Mark Goldbridge has spoken out to demand Ruben Amorim sells one player after their poor performance against Brighton.

On Sunday, Amorim took another blow in first season in charge of the Red Devils as his side lost 3-1 to Brighton at Old Trafford.

It marks his sixth Premier League loss since his first match in the United dugout in late November against Ipswich Town.

After the match, popular United fan Goldbridge has spoken out to demand the Portuguese manager sells the one player who cost them the match against Brighton.

With just 15 days left of the January transfer window, United are yet to make any moves to strengthen their squad or sell players who are no longer worth keeping at the club.

And Goldbridge is convinced that Amorim has to get rid of goalkeeper Andre Onana after the Cameroonian made a mistake that led to Brighton's third goal on Sunday.

Posting on X after the match, Goldbridge simply wrote: "He's got to go."

Onana's mistake came in the 75th minute, as he came out of his box to try to catch a ball crossed in by Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari.

But instead of safely catching the ball, Onana spills it, allowing it to fall to Georgino Rutter, who calmly put the ball in the back of the net to seal the win for the visitors.

On his live watchalong for the match, Goldbridge had a lot more to say about Onana.

After watching the mistake, the United fan said: "Oh for f**** sake, sell that t*** in goal! Oh my God! He is absolute s***

"What an absolute prat. If you thought it couldn't get worse, this is absolutely the pinnacle of Dracula in goal. He's allergic to crosses.

"He comes for this one and it bounces off him to a Brighton player. bloody teflon hands, slips right out of his hands."

Following his heroics in the FA Cup clash with Arsenal, many United fans have now called for second-choice goalkeeper Altay Bayindir to replace Onana in the starting place for United's next Premier League match against Fulham
