The transfer saga surrounding Marcus Rashford's has taken a shock turn as his departure from Manchester United looks imminent.
Ever since Ruben Amorim arrived at Old Trafford as United's new manager following the dismissal of Erik ten Hag, it has been clear that Rashford is not a part of his future plans.
Just one month after joining United, Amorim made the controversial decision to omit Rashford form the match day squad for the Manchester derby against Manchester City in December.

Rashford later left the club in January on a short-term loan to Premier League rivals Aston Villa, and now appears to be set to once again leave his boyhood club this summer.
The England international has been linked with several clubs, including both Villa and Barcelona, but we may finally know exactly where Rashford will be playing next thanks to a new report.

Since Rashford's desire to leave United this summer became clear, he has not been shy to admit that a move to Barcelona would be his dream transfer, as he hopes to play alongside Spanish wonderkid Lamine Yamal.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has admitted that he would be open to signing the 27-year-old, and now a new report from The Sun has revealed that Barcelona may finally be prepared to formalise this interest.
The report claims that, although they are unlikely to submit a bid for a permanent transfer due to their hopes of signing Athletic Club star Nico Williams, Barcelona will offer Rashford a move to the Nou Camp as part of a loan deal.
Should Rashford impress during this loan, then it would be Barcelona's intention to later make the move a permanent one, with finances the only thing preventing them from doing so currently.

Flick is said to be an admirer of Rashford's versatility and would use him across the wing and as a backup option down the middle for aging striker Robert Lewandowski.
Although it would be United's preference to sell Rashford this summer, it is believed that they would remain open to a loan move so that they can get the Englishman's £370,000 per week salary off the books.
