Manchester United have released early team news for their first pre-season friendly against Leeds United.

Erik ten Hag's side face Leeds at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, Norway on Wednesday, with kick-off at 4pm UK time.

It is set to be an unfamiliar starting line-up for United, with the majority of the club's international players yet to return for pre-season training.

A 26-man squad comprised of non-international players, academy prospects, new signings and those who have recently returned from injury has travelled to Norway for the match.

United have now released their early team news ahead of the game, confirming that new signing Mason Mount is expected to feature in the match.

Mount completed his £55m move to United from Chelsea last week and has been training with his new teammates at Carrington, already forming a friendship with Lisandro Martinez.

United confirmed the England star, who was not involved in the June internationals, was likely to make his non-competitive debut for the club against Leeds.

"The big news is that Mason Mount is part of the travelling squad and expected to make his first appearance since joining, whether as a starter or substitute," read an update on the club's website.

Martinez set to make return for United

Martinez could also feature after making a full recovery from a fractured metatarsal which ruled him out of the final months of last season.

"Fans will also be eager to see Lisandro Martinez for the first time since he injured his foot against Sevilla in the Europa League tie back in April, and he will be relishing the tussle with the Yorkshire side," added the update.

Other experienced players in the squad include Raphael Varane, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jadon Sancho and Fred.

Tom Heaton is expected to start in goal, with David De Gea no longer at the club and Dean Henderson left at home amid the uncertainty over his future.

Isak Hansen-Aaroen could be handed a chance to impress in his native Norway, with the 18-year-old just one of many academy starlets to make the squad, which also includes the likes of Hannibal Mejbri and Kobbie Mainoo.
