Manchester United are reportedly planning a shock bid for an England international - as one of their current players spends time on holiday with him.
Despite being linked with a multitude over players over recent weeks, United have only completed one permanent signing so far this summer.
Forward Matheus Cunha arrived from Wolves last month after the Europa League runners-up triggered his £62.5 million release clause.

Ruben Amorim's planned rebuild has yet to click in to gear - and United haven't been able to move on any of their unwanted players either, including winger Alejandro Garnacho.
But a second player may well be on the way to Old Trafford.
According to former United chief scout Mick Brown, speaking to Football Insider, club scouts have been monitoring Al Ahli star and England international Ivan Toney.

It is claimed that Toney has not dismissed a return to English football after one season in Saudi Arabia.
He scored 30 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions and earned a recall to Thomas Tuchel's England squad.
Brown said: "Man United have been watching him, my sources tell me, and they think he is still capable of playing at the top level.
"He's one they've liked for a while, even when he was at Brentford, so it might be a surprise to see them interested again but there aren't a lot of strikers of his level available."

While perhaps not directly related to any future transfer, it was spotted that Toney was recently on holiday with United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.

Amorim's side have also expressed interest in Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres, but the Swede looks set to join Arsenal instead.
L'Equipe reported on Thursday the striker and his representatives had informed the Gunners that they were his number one choice, with the two parties close to a verbal agreement over his proposed contract.

Amorim managed Gyokeres at Sporting Lisbon before moving to United, but he appears he will now be working under Mikel Arteta instead.
Arsenal still need to agree a fee with Sporting, however, with the Portuguese club and the player at odds over the transfer.
Gyokeres and his representatives are said to believe that an agreement is in place for him to leave for a set fee - something denied by the club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Swede has refused to return to Sporting and is effectively on strike until he is able to leave the club.
