Manchester United could use Jadon Sancho in a clever plot to secure a stunning summer transfer which would transform their team.
The Red Devils have made just the one signing so far, bringing in Matheus Cunha from Wolves in a £62.5 million switch.
But after a disappointing 15th placed finish, coupled with the Europa League final defeat to Spurs, Ruben Amorim wants further reinforcements and a new striker appears to be an absolute priority given the difficulties Rasmus Hojlund has experienced in front of goal.

Sporting CP talisman Viktor Gyokeres had been heavily linked with a reunion at Old Trafford but it's claimed that the Swede has decided he would prefer to sign for Arsenal - making it difficult for United to sign him.
While that saga continues to rumble on, United are also credited with a strong interest in Victor Osimhen - who is surplus to requirements at Napoli.
Cast aside last summer, Osimhen secured a late move to Galatasaray and scored 37 goals as Istanbul giants won the Turkish Super Lig.

He has no future with the Serie A champions and with Galatasaray struggling to put together the financial package required to secure a permanent move, United are lurking.

And Sancho's involvement could be key, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting that Napoli are set to make a move for the England international.
Sancho spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Chelsea and made 41 appearances as they won the Conference League and qualified for next season's Europa League by finishing fourth.

However, despite scoring in the final, Chelsea elected against signing him permanently and paid a £5 million penalty fee to United as a result.
United wish to offload him permanently this summer and Napoli, who are also keeping tabs on Alejandro Garnacho and Jack Grealish as they look for a new winger.
Sancho moving to Napoli and freeing up his £300,000-a-week wages would make it easier coughing up for Osimhen, who has a high salary on top of a £63 million release clause.
Al Hilal have not given up hope of signing the Nigerian and according to Goal, are willing to offer him an improved £42 million-a-year wage.

Sancho, meanwhile, is said to be open to another return to Borussia Dortmund but is not willing to lower his salary - providing a stumbling block to a potential permanent transfer.
