Manchester United have named their squad to take on Rangers in a pre-season friendly this afternoon - with decisions made over Leny Yoro and Jadon Sancho.

United completed the signing of Yoro from Lille for an initial fee of £50 million earlier this week.

The 18-year-old Frenchman did not represent his country at Euro 2024, nor is he in the Olympics squad after being withdrawn by his now previous club.

Sancho, meanwhile, was re-integrated into United's first team after positive talks with manager Erik ten Hag last Friday, with the decision being taken to 'draw a line under' the pair's public dispute over Sancho's training performances last summer.

They will not have been the only selection decisions for Ten Hag, meanwhile, with players slowly returning from international duty and the likes of Harry Maguire and Tyrell Malacia still recovering from injury.

United have now confirmed their squad - and both Yoro and Sancho are indeed in line to play their first minutes of pre-season.

They will be joined by Amad Diallo and Andre Onana, who both missed the 1-0 defeat to Norwegian side Rosenborg.

But Victor Lindelof, Antony and Marcus Rashford - who played in the Rosenborg fixture - are all absent with what United describe as 'minor niggles'.

Out of the players who were at Euro 2024, Scott McTominay is the closest to being involved following Scotland's group stage exit, but the Rangers clash has been deemed too early for him.

The same can be said for Maguire, who missed out on the Euros entirely through injury, while Malacia is also still recovering having been out of action for over a year.

The full squad is as follows:

  • Goalkeepers: Mee, Onana, Vitek
  • Defenders: Aljofree, Amass, Bennett, Evans, Fish, Jackson, Murray, Ogunneye, Oyedele, Wan-Bissaka, Yoro
  • Midfielders: Casemiro, Collyer, Fletcher, Hannibal, Mather, Mount, Scanlon
  • Forwards: Amad, Ennis, Hugill, Sancho, Wheatley
