Kobbie Mainoo is open to leaving Manchester United and has a 'preferred' move in mind as we enter the final days of this summer's window.
A number of clubs from around Europe have expressed an interest in signing Mainoo, who has been an unused subsitute in United's opening two Premier League games of the season against Arsenal and Fulham.
It is being widely reported that the player has become frustrated with his bit-part role under Ruben Amorim, and footage of a dejected-looking Mainoo leaving Craven Cottage on Sunday appears to suggest those claims are indeed correct.
So, which clubs are interested in the 20-year-old? Chelsea are long-term admirers and were heavily linked with a move in May.

Real Madrid and local rivals Atletico are also said to be monitoring his situation in the remaining days of the window, as per the Mail – and it could be a transfer that Mainoo is keen to explore based on a new report.

It is said Mainoo is thought to prefer a move to the continent rather than a Premier League stay, according to The Athletic, who claim 'there is a belief' United would now accept around £45 million or potentially even less this summer.
The report suggests he is open to leaving his boyhood club this summer and has already discussed the prospect with teammates.
Ruben Amorim explains why Kobbie Mainoo hasn't played this season
As mentioned above, Mainoo has been an unused substitute in both of United's opening two fixtures.

Ruben Amorim used all five substitutes in their 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage but elected against introducing Mainoo – instead bringing on Harry Maguire and Ayden Heaven with just minutes remaining.

Amorim would later explain his decision against using Mainoo.
"He is fighting for the position now with Bruno (Fernandes)," Amorim said. "And I change to two midfielders, I left Mason Mount there because we want to score a goal, and when I change I felt the team needs to have one holding midfielder near Bruno."

"So he just needs to fight for the position with Bruno like it should be at Manchester United," Amorim added.
