Man Utd fans say the club is 'finished' after seeing what's happened in their latest post-season game

Manchester United went behind to Hong Kong in their latest post-season friendly.

Manchester United fans claim the club is 'finished' after witnessing something embarrassing in their latest post-season friendly in Asia.

Man United jetted out to Asia immediately after beating Aston Villa in their final game of the Premier League season.

They ended their 2024/25 campaign with a surprise victory against Unai Emery's team but endured more misery when they played ASEAN All-Stars on Wednesday.

The Red Devils suffered a humiliating 1-0 defeat in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with Ruben Amorim giving a damning post-match assessment.

Amorim's team returned to action on Friday as they faced Hong Kong, who are managed by Englishman Ashley Westwood.

And Westwood's side took a shock lead when Juninho scored in the 19th minute.

Tom Heaton was unable to stop Juninho's near-post strike from hitting the back of the net.

Shortly after Hong Kong's goal, 'ultras' performed the 'Poznan' - a nod to Manchester City.

Needless to say, Man United fans on social media were quick to react to Hong Kong fans doing the 'Poznan'.

One X user wrote: "Poznan versus a team in Hong Kong. Man Utd is finished. Weak."

A second said: "Wow embarrassing."

A third slammed: "Amorim is an embarrassment to this once great institution. Get this idiot out asap."

Another commented: "Amorim's turned us into an international joke."

Speaking before kick-off, Amorim said: "We need to do better than the last game. We understand that the players are tired of travelling and all of the commercial things, but it is the time to show good things to our fans."
