Manchester United have made a decision on Antony’s future, according to a report.

United have been active in the transfer window so far, having signed 18-year-old Lille defender Leny Yoro in a deal worth up to £58.9million on Thursday, as well as Joshua Zirkzee earlier this month for £36.5million.

Meanwhile, there have also been outgoings, with Mason Greenwood completing a switch to Marseille.

And as per ESPN, several more United stars could depart.

It has been claimed that Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelöf, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen, who are all out of contract in 2025, can leave for the right offer this summer.

Moreover, ex-Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro is also available despite still having two years remaining on his current deal.

Meanwhile, Antony, who has struggled since an £86million transfer from Ajax to United, will also allegedly be allowed to leave the club should they cover his £70,000-a-week wages.

Such a clear out is something United have resisted in the past few years due to the Glazers’ transfer policy.

"Joel and Avram [Glazer] would be happy to get rid of Wan-Bissaka or Lindelöf," a source told ESPN.

"But they would look at the numbers and ask 'How much could we get for them and how much would it cost to replace them?' When they were told that it would cost half as much to keep the players until the end of their contract rather than get rid and sign a replacement, the answer would always been to keep them for another year.

"They would rather pay £10m in wages and lose the player on a free than spend an extra £20m to sign a better player to replace them."

Since the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS Group at the top of the club, that policy has been consigned to history.
