Manchester United have reportedly held talks with four managers as the pressure continues to mount on Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag and United have endured a tough season as they finished in a disappointing eighth place in the Premier League.

In Europe, their Champions League campaign ended at the first hurdle after they finished bottom of their group behind Bayern Munich, FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray.

With a crucial FA Cup final on the horizon against rivals Manchester City, it has been claimed that United are putting plans in place just incase they decide to part ways with Ten Hag.

As reported by ESPN, United have held talks with the representatives of Brentford boss Thomas Frank, Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna, former Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel and ex-Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino.

The report stated: “New co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his team, led by INEOS director of sport Sir Dave Brailsford, have taken on board information from a number of candidates who could potentially replace Ten Hag.

“They include Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino, both free agents after leaving Bayern Munich and Chelsea respectively, as well as current Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna and Brentord manager Thomas Frank. Informal discussions have been held with representatives of all four of those potential candidates, sources told ESPN.”
