One Manchester United fan has come up with a theory on why the Red Devils do better in Europe than in the Premier League.
Domestically, United have endured a tough season as they currently sit 14th in the Premier League table with just 39 points from 34 matches.
The Red Devils have not tasted victory in the top flight since their 3-0 win over Leicester City on March 16.

However, in Europe, United have enjoyed a brilliant Europa League campaign as they are one step away from reaching the final.
On Thursday night, Ruben Amorim's men secured a vital 3-0 semi-final first-leg victory over Spanish La Liga side Athletic Club.
Next week, they will look to finish the job at Old Trafford.

Reacting on social media, fans have been left baffled by the difference in performances in Europe and the Premier League.
One fan was on hand to explain: "I have a theory that reputation and confidence are a big thing.
"In the Prem, the past few seasons most of if not all teams have comfortably beaten us but in Europe, not many teams have had the chance to do it.
"So there is still aura, still respect, Old Trafford still has a reputation."

Replying to the fan, someone wrote: "Yeah a really good take . Man Utd is timeless."
Another tweeted: "That’s a good point actually!"
Speaking on the back of the win over Athletic Club, United boss Amorim said: "I think the result is really good but we have to understand the result also, at the same time.

"We struggled a lot in the beginning, but the goal from Casemiro and the sending off changed the game. But that is a good thing, with a little bit of luck we managed to stay in the game and anything can change with one situation."
He continued: "I think we had opportunities to score one more. This is not done. They can do the same in Old Trafford because they are really strong, they are really intense. One sending off can happen in our stadium, so we need to be prepared."
United are back in action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.
