Luke Littler ruthlessly poked fun at Douglas Luiz following Manchester United's huge victory over Aston Villa on Sunday.

Man United secured a massive win at Villa Park as they fight for Champions League qualification, making history in the process.

Rasmus Hojlund opened the scoring in the 17th minute, scoring in his fifth straight game. He slotted home from close range after Harry Maguire's header.

Luiz levelled proceedings in the second-half when he scored from inside the box and appeared to celebrate in the direction of Andre Onana.

The visitors restored their lead through second-half substitute Scott McTominay who headed home four minutes from time.

Rio Ferdinand mocked Luiz's celebration on social media, with the player explaining his on-field actions.

Fans also spotted Raphael Varane's exchange with the Brazilian following McTominay's goal in the 86th minute.

After the match, Erik ten Hag claimed Luiz's shoulder shimmy celebration may have 'fuelled' his side to victory.

"I don’t have an opinion about that," he said. "I haven’t spoken to the players.

"Maybe it's fueling, I don't know. I don’t think it is important. It is about us, we have to think about our game and not the opposition."

Darts sensation and Man United fan Littler was less forgiving as he trolled Luiz online.

He shared a picture of the 25-year-old celebrating his goal on his Instagram story, accompanied with the caption: "Karma is real."

Littler would have been buzzing with yesterday's result as the win sees Man United close the gap on fifth-placed Villa to five points.

The Red Devils, who occupy sixth place in the table, have 41 points on the board. They've won three league games in a row since their 2-2 draw against Tottenham last month.

Ten Hag's charges have beaten Wolves, West Ham United and, of course, Villa, ahead of resuming their league campaign on Sunday against Luton Town.
