Jude Bellingham tipped to join Man Utd 'if they make right offer'

Bellingham has reached an agreement to join United on one condition, according to reports in Spain.

Even if they failed to qualify for next season's Champions League, Jude Bellingham would still join Manchester United if they made the right offer, according to a former England international.

Bellingham has been one of Real Madrid's standout performers since joining in the summer of 2023, although the midfielder has taken a 'precautionary decision' regarding his future at the Bernabeu.

Last month, a report from El Nacional claimed that Bellingham would consider leaving the club if they appointed Jurgen Klopp as manager.

According to the Spanish publication, Bellingham believes Klopp would change the system and his role. The possibility of this happening is "not a scenario that he finds at all attractive," added the report.

In fact, the report goes on to suggest that the player has 'reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester United to facilitate an immediate exit' if Jurgen Klopp is hired.

"The operation would be conditioned exclusively on the arrival of Klopp," added El Nacional. "If the German coach does not land at the Santiago Bernabéu, the midfielder's intention would be to continue at the club."

Amid the speculation, former England international Chris Waddle believes Bellingham would join United if they splashed the cash.

"Listen, if Manchester United offered Jude Bellingham a contract that blows the other one out of the water, then he’s going to take it," Waddle told Ozoon.

"A lot of people say he's not going there if they're not in the Champions League. Well, money talks."

The former Newcastle and Spurs midfielder continued: "Jude Bellingham had a great first year at Real Madrid. The last couple, he's been okay, when he came on the scene, he looked the part, but I think people have worked him out, what he does, how he plays.

"It's not about one season, it's about 10 seasons. And that's how I always judge how good players are. I think you can do it every year, and add bits to your game. I think Bellingham has played the same way now for the last few years.

"I think when he first went to Spain from Dortmund, a lot of people, let's be honest, didn't really know who he was. So he had a stunning first year. And then obviously his role changed slightly when Kylian Mbappe came in. And he's finding it hard and unfortunately for the lad, he's got injuries.

Waddle added: "But listen, United are linked with everybody as Liverpool are, as Arsenal are now, as many clubs are, United get linked with everybody. Let's see."
