Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho has responded to a fan who described him as the 'worst signing in the club's history' on social media.
Sancho spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Chelsea, who had an obligation to buy the winger.
However, the Blues decided not to trigger that obligation and instead paid a £5 million penalty fee to United.

Sancho is now back at Old Trafford for the beginning of pre-season - though it is somewhat different to what he is used to.
According to BBC Sport, Sancho is one of five players who have effectively been ostracised from the first team setup and have been forced to train alone.
As far as Sancho himself is concerned, the 25-year-old is almost certain to have played his last game for United.
That means he must find a new club before the September 1 deadline, or face the prospect of not kicking a ball for several months.

Juventus have been linked with a cut-price move for the winger, who could be included in a swap deal with their outcast striker Dusan Vlahovic.
An exit would cap off a miserable time at Old Trafford for Sancho, who signed for the club from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of £73 million in 2021.
After two seasons of relatively underwhelming returns, Sancho played just three games in the 2023/24 season before being loaned back to Dortmund for the second half of that campaign.
In the replies to his latest post on Instagram, a fan wrote a lengthy X-rated message to Sancho in which they called him 'the worst signing in the greatest club's history', and added: "Ur a stain on the shade of red that we wear. Good riddance."

In response, Sancho simply replied: "Have a good day bro."

Which club will Jadon Sancho sign for?
All signs point towards Sancho joining Juventus at this stage, with very little reported interest from elsewhere in the England winger.

According to Football Italia, Sancho is 'eager to wait' for the Italian giants after his entourage held talks with the club.
It is claimed that United have internally accepted that Juve are not willing to pay their reported €25 million asking price for a player who, in six weeks' time, will likely be paid not to play if he can't find another club.
Sancho is also into the last 12 months of the five-year contract he initially signed in 2021, driving down his potential value even further.
