Gary Neville and Roy Keane caught in on air ‘blunder’ during Sky Sports coverage

The Manchester United legends were on Sky Sports duty for Super Sunday.

Manchester United legends Roy Keane and Gary Neville were part of a live Sky Sports blunder.

On Sunday afternoon, Keane and Neville were joined by the likes of Kelly Cates, Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher for the latest round of Premier League fixtures.

As reported by the Daily Mail, a pre-recorded video was played during the post-match analysis of Arsenal's match against Newcastle United.

While on the gantry, Neville was heard discussing Sky Sports's 215 Premier League matches next season.

At this point, the former defender got his phone out to call Keane, who was in the studio with Cates, Richards and Carragher.

Neville began: "Roy its Gary."

Keane responded: "Who is this’ before asking ‘What do you want?’

Neville then continued: "Have you heard about these 215 games next season."

Keane then replied: "Games next year, don’t be such a baby."

After getting the phone, ex-Manchester City star Richards said: "Nev what's happening its big Meeks. 215 games, come on, that's more time with me."

Neville then hit back: "How are you going to fit that in with all the stuff you do."

Finally, the phone was handed to Carragher, who said: "There is more games, that's what you want isn't it," to which Neville replied: "They've got more of us."

Then, a member of studio staff could be heard requesting phones to be put away, before presenter Cates went to record a piece to camera.

"You can watch more Premier League action than every before on Sky Sports with 215 games live next season," Cates said.

She then commented: "Wait, have we been live that whole time?"

The promotional video was played after Sky Sports recently signed a four-year deal with the Premier League.

Looking ahead to next season, Sky Sports will broadcast a record number of 215 matches, rising from this campaign's 128.
