Here is four free agents Manchester United could sign following the club's injury crisis.

Man United have been hit with several injuries, with Amad Diallo set for a lengthy spell on the sideline.

Amad posted an emotional statement on social media to confirm his devastating injury and may not return this season, having enjoyed a stunning campaign under Ruben Amorim.

The injury list also includes midfielders Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer, who are also ruled out for a period of time.

Despite the transfer window slamming shut earlier this month, Amorim could recruit a free agent to solve his squad issues, with a number of players available.

A slew of players are still without a club following the end of the winter transfer window, including a few former Premier League stars.

Carlos Vela

With Amad potentially out for the season, Amorim could look to Vela, who can operate on the wing, providing a like-for-like replacement for the Ivorian star.

Vela, 35, is without a club following his spell with Los Angeles FC.

Of course, the Mexican has Premier League experience, having played for Arsenal and West Brom.

Another Amad replacement could be ex-Barcelona winger Rafinha, who can play in a number of positions.

He could be a perfect fit for Amorim's system as he can be deployed at wing-back or can be pushed higher in a more attacking position.

The Brazilian, still just 32, has big-game experience following his spells with Barca and Paris Saint-Germain. His last club was Qatari side Al Arabi.

Daniel Amartey

Amartey could be a short-term fix for Amorim's midfield issues with Mainoo and Ugarte both out.

He made his name at Leicester City, where he won the league title.

The Ghana international could slot in Amorim's formation as one of the No.6s.

Victor Wanyama

Wanyama, 33, could also be an option. The Kenyan midfielder enjoyed spells at Celtic, Southampton and Tottenham.

He has Premier League experience, having made 159 appearances in England's top flight.

The defensive midfielder is without a club following his CF Montreal release.
