The viral Manchester United fan growing his hair until his team can win five in a row was involved in a heated moment after the win over Chelsea.
Premier League fans were treated to another huge match on Saturday afternoon as just hours after Liverpool's win over local rivals Everton, Manchester United welcomed Chelsea to Old Trafford.
A chaotic match that saw a player being sent off in both halves ended as a 2-1 win to the hosts, with goals from captain Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro.
Shortly after the result, many fans would have likely thought of fellow supporter Frank Ilett, who has gone viral in recent months after promising that he will not cut his hair until United win five games in a row.

But anyone searching on social media for Ilett, who goes by the username The United Strand, will have been shocked to see that he was involved in a heated moment with another fan after the Chelsea clash.

After starting the challenge on October 5, Ilett has now gone nearly a year without a trip to the barbers, with his current haircut overseeing two different managers taking charge of United.
A massive win over Premier League rivals Chelsea will no doubt be a relief for the popular fan, but things quickly took a negative turn post-match after a fellow United supported angrily approached him as he left Old Trafford.

In a clip posed on X, the unnamed fan approaches Ilett, who is surrounded by fellow United supporters, and grabs his hair and pulls him down while shaking him.
Initially, Ilett appears to take the gesture well, likely assuming that it was a friendly joke, but as other fans pulled the attacker off of him you can see he is visibly confused about what happened.
As the other fan is pulled away from Ilett, he shouts: "F*** off! I'll do what I want, he's not a United fan!"

Thankfully, Ilett appears to have not allowed the moment to dampen what was otherwise an exciting day fro him, as he took to his popular Instagram account to share his reaction to the game.
He wrote: "What a place. Wet hair, but still a smile on my face!

"A big win today! What a crazy game it was in the end! 1 down, 4 to go. COME ON UNITED!"
United face Brentford, Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton in their next four fixtures, giving them a good chance to put together the five-win streak should they be able to get a win in a tough away trip to Anfield.
