Amad Diallo, Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho have all played regular first-team minutes for Manchester United this season, but who comes out on top when it comes to stats per 90?

It has been an eventful few days for the trio.

Amad, who continues to shine under new boss Ruben Amorim, netted a last-gasp winner against Manchester City on Sunday as the club sealed a much-needed three points.

Rashford and Garnacho, meanwhile, were dropped from United's matchday squad for the Manchester derby.

Asked after the game about the reasons for his decision, head coach Ruben Amorim suggested it was based on their performances in training rather than a disciplinary issue.

"It's important to say why: it was not a disciplinary thing," he said. "Next week, next game, new life, they are fighting for their places."

Amorim added: "For me it's important, the performance in training, the performance in games, the way you dress, the way you eat, the way you engage with teammates, the way you push your teammates.

"Everything is important in our context in the beginning of something when we want to change a lot of things, when people in our club are losing their jobs we have to set the standards really high and for that they have to fight for a place in the team.

"Today the team proved we can leave anyone out of the squad and manage to win if you play together. If it was disciplinary, I would say that here and it will be a bigger problem but was not that."

The news came just days after Rashford was brought off in the 56th minute of their Europa League clash against Viktoria Plzen. Garnacho, on the other hand, made an even briefer cameo off the bench.

So who comes out on top when it comes to stats per 90 in the Premier League?

As per Squawka, Garnacho has recorded more shots on target [1.6] than Rashford [0.9] and Amad [0.9] but other than that, he falls behind when it comes to passes attempted, assists and through balls.

Rashford, on the other hand, has scored four Premier League goals for United this season, which is the highest goals per 90 tally out of the three. He also comes out on top when it comes to through balls [0.6], as seen in the graphic below.

Amad, meanwhile, is arguably in the form of his life. The Ivorian has registered more winning goals [0.2], assists [0.7] and passes attempted [42.4] than Rashford and Garnacho; not to mention aerial and ground duels.

Here is the comparison matrix in full. Any surprises?
