Manchester United fans have had enough of Alejandro Garnacho after seeing how he reacted to being substituted during the match vs Real Sociedad.

On Thursday night, United drew 1-1 with La Liga side Real Sociedad in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 clash at the Reale Arena.

After a goalless first half, the visitors took the lead through Joshua Zirkzee but quickly saw it disappear after captain Bruno Fernandes handled the ball inside, giving Sociedad a penalty that was scored by Mikel Oyarzabal.

However, perhaps the most controversial moment in the match came just eight minutes later after United boss Ruben Amorim decided he had seen enough of winger Alejandro Garnacho.

Garnacho played a key role in United's goal as he carried the ball towards the penalty area before pulling it back to give it Zirkzee who cooly tucked it away.

But when the Argentine was taken off the pitch in the 78th minute, he clearly wasn't best pleased, leading to United fans calling him out on social media.

Reacting to the moment, one fan wrote: "Did not like Alejandro Garnacho's negative reaction as he was being substituted. He's not learning to trying to change his behaviour. It's just a repeat pattern.

"Not to mention, the sub was justified. His performance was wasteful & he'd had 5 shots from good positions."

Another agreed, adding: "Garnacho is overrated youngster with big ego. Let's sell him this summer and sign proper attacker."

While one claimed: "You’ll never be able to convince me that Garnacho is even 15% of the player Rashford is."

Just last week, the 20-year-old reacted in a similar way to coming off early during the Premier League match against Ipswich Town, as he decided to walk straight down the Old Trafford tunnel instead of staying on the pitch to support his teammates.

Reacting to Garnacho's behaviour after the Ipswich match, Amorim said: "It was cold and wet, maybe.

“Then you make the substitution. We have to choose someone to go out, we have to think about set pieces also, so it was my choice.”

Earlier in the season, Garnacho was temporarily taken out of the United squad due to issues with his behaviour, leading to him missing the massive local derby with Manchester City.
