Manchester United fans have been left divided by Alejandro Garnacho's gesture a half-time against Fulham.

The Red Devils returned to winning ways at Craven Cottage thanks to Bruno Fernandes' stoppage time strike.

It was by no means the perfect performance, but the victory will help relieve some of the pressure on Erik ten Hag, following consecutive 3-0 defeats to Manchester City and Newcastle.

However, fans were left confused by Garnacho's behaviour at half-time.

As the players headed for the dressing rooms, the 19-year-old gifted his shirt to a young Fulham fan in the crowd. You can watch the clip below.

Players are well renowned for giving their shirts to supporters after the game, but it is very rare to do so at half-time, and fans have been left divided.

Taking to social media, one fan tweeted: "Guessing he forgot he had another half to play!"

While a second wrote: "Game well and truly gone."

However, not all fans were so critical of Garnacho, with some praising the winger's behaviour.

"Miserable people complaining about this, sad," a third chimed in.

"Made that kids day bless him," a fourth exclaimed.

Do you think Garnacho should have waited until full-time? Let us know in the comments.
