Manchester United fans are all urging Erik ten Hag to recall one player to starting XI vs Fulham.

The Red Devils have endured their worst start to a season in the last 61 years and currently sit eighth in the Premier League table, 11 points adrift of first-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Their European form hasn't been much better, either, having suffered defeat in two out if their opening three Champions League group stage matches.

Consecutive 3-0 losses to Manchester City and Newcastle compounded their misery, with Ten Hag's job in serious jeopardy.

United travel to Craven Cottage in a must win contest in the Premier League on Saturday, with all eyes on the manager.

And in the wake of Casemiro's injury fans reckon it is the perfect time to unleash 18-year-old midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, who has recently returned from an ankle issue.

The Englishman played his first 90 minutes for the club's under 21 side against Salford on Tuesday night, which ended in a 4-3 defeat.

Mainoo put on an excellent display, and a compilation of his performance has since gone viral on social media.

Supporters are now desperate for him to be given a chance in the first team against Fulham.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "The moment has come to unleash Kobbie Mainoo."

"If the boss don’t play this guy on Saturday and we lose..." another speculated.

"ETH should be giving Mainoo a big role in midfield with Casemiro injured for weeks. That’s the whole point of trusting youth," a third chimed in.

"Casemiro injured? Say less Kobbie Mainoo Time," a fourth exclaimed.
