Fans are convinced that training ground footage shows Manchester United stars mocking one of their rivals.

As everybody knows, Premier League football is a serious business.

There's an awful lot riding on every match in the best and richest league in the world, but that doesn't mean players can't find time to have a little fun.

That's exactly what Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz did when his side took on Man United last month.

In the second half the Brazilian midfielder drew the home side level at Villa Park, and choose to celebrate his goal in a rather comical way.

Upon scoring Luiz immediately turned to United defender Raphael Varane and 'shimmied' his shoulders, before wheeling away a few seconds later.

The goading celebration didn't age well though, as Scott McTominay snatched a 2-1 win for United with a late goal.

United may have won that match, but it's clear that their players haven't forgotten Luiz's infamous celebration.

On Friday, United uploaded to TikTok training footage that appears to show Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo mocking Luiz by imitating his celebration.

The video shows the pair performing the dance after completing a drill during a training session at Carrington.

Garnacho is currently away on international duty with Argentina, so it is not clear when the footage was recorded.

On TikTok and on X, fans are convinced that the duo were mocking the Aston Villa star.

"Someone tag Douglas Luiz," one fan commented, while another wrote: "Is Douglas at Carrington?"

A third fan said: "Lol he's getting cooked again," while a fourth remarked: "Pain went straight to Douglas Luiz."

United are currently sixth place in the Premier League table, nine points behind Aston Villa in fourth, albeit with a game in hand.

Garnacho and Diallo can mock Luiz all they want, but at the moment it's the Brazilian who looks more likely to be playing Champions League football next season.
