Man Utd fans spot transfer leak at Old Trafford

Manchester United confirmed their progression to the Champions League for next season with their victory over Liverpool last weekend.

As Michael Carrick guided the Red Devils to the elite European competition, fans can now start dreaming of who the club will sign this summer to evolve their squad.

The recruitment team will be working on who to bring to the club and which players will leave Old Trafford this summer, with fans of United naming the two individuals that must depart.

While it has been reported that United are among the favourites to sign Ederson from Atalanta as a replacement for the departing Casemiro.

Now, fans have appeared to uncover a piece of transfer business by the club as United put the pieces in place at Old Trafford to announce their kit for next season

Fans online have spotted images being added to Old Trafford displaying next season’s jersey, as it will be their last home game of the campaign when they face Nottingham Forest.

One of the players being used to display the kit included Amad Diallo, who had previously been linked with a move away from the club.

However, the fact he is being used in promotional images may suggest United and Carrick want to keep the winger at the club for next season.

United fans may be split on this decision as there were a lot of supporters on social media not pleased with his performance in the 0-0 draw with Sunderland, with several suggesting he should leave Old Trafford this summer.

One supporter said: “Not been at it enough this season; good squad player, but we need more than that next season. If a decent offer came in, you must consider it!”

While another added: “He needs to leave, maybe loaned to another Premier League team; if no improvement, then he needs to be sold."

However, according to TEAMtalk, Manchester United have dismissed suggestions that Amad Diallo could be allowed to leave this summer, as they view him as a key part of the club’s long-term future.

So, it appears that United have put their trust in Diallo, and this will explain why they have put him in their promotional material for the new kit.
