Manchester United are eying a potential Premier League bargain as their rivals look to be at risk of breaching PSR.
After finishing a disappointing 15th in the Premier League and missing out on European football following defeat in the Europa League final, Manchester United are looking to rebuild their squad.
And it appears that buying Premier League proven players is a key to their new strategy. They have already signed Wolves star Matheus Cunha and made an unsuccessful approach to get Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo.

Now, there may be an opportunity to take advantage of Aston Villa's PSR position with growing rumours of signing Emiliano Martinez.
The 32-year-old Argentinian was in tears as he left the Villa Park pitch after the penultimate game of the season, which prompted speculation that it would be his final home game for the Villains.
Speaking on The United Stand, Ben Jacobs said: "Aston Villa would realistically want £25 to £30M for Emi Martinez, despite their initial valuation being closer to £40M."

Do Manchester United need Emi Martinez?
The short answer is yes, he would be a clear upgrade.

Current number one Andre Onana, has failed to impress since his £47.2m move from Inter Milan.
He made a several high-profile mistakes in his debut campaign as United crashed out in the Champions League group stages.
Despite a better start to his second season, he has been too error-prone again and United would surely want a more reliable first-choice goalkeeper.
Backup keeper, Altay Bayındır has also disappointed in his limited gametime.
Will Aston Villa sell their goalkeeper? What about PSR?
In an ideal world, Aston Villa would want to keep Martinez.

He's a fan favourite and has twice won 'The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper.'
But they are the Premier League side most at risk of breaching the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
They have lost £206.2 million before-tax over the last two seasons, which means they can only lose £15million in 2024-25, according to The Athletic.
It has led to a growing expectation that Aston Villa will be forced to sell players this summer.

Have Aston Villa not sold key players?
Having qualified for European football for a third consecutive season and made some high-profile sales, Villa fans might feel they've already done enough.
In January,, Jhon Duran moved to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr for £64 million, giving Villa a £53 million profit on the Colombian forward.

Last summer, Moussa Diaby also moved to Saudi Arabia, joining Al Ittihad for £60m, a £10m profit on the France international.
Most notably, Jack Grealish left his boyhood club for an eye-watering £100m in 2021.
However, because PSR is calculated over a rolling three-year period, Villa can no longer count this fee towards their PSR calculations.
