Manchester City legend Yaya Toure is in line to manage a club in the Champions League next season, it has been reported.
Toure, who won six trophies with City including three Premier League titles, retired from professional football in 2019.
The Ivory Coast international has since moved into coaching, and has worked for a host of clubs around the world.
That included a spell as an academy coach at Tottenham Hotspur when Antonio Conte was at the club.

In November 2023, he joined up with former City boss Roberto Mancini as assistant manager of the Saudi Arabia national team.

He officially earned his UEFA Pro Licence in January of last year, and is now set to take sole charge of his first professional club.
Toure 'agrees terms' with European club
According to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph, Toure has agreed terms with reigning Slovakian top division champions Slovan Bratislava.
Bratislava had been managed for the past five years by Vladimir Weiss, who stepped down last month to take over as head coach of the Slovakia national team.
Their domestic success means they have earned a place in the qualifying stages of the Champions League as Slovakia's sole representative in the competition.
Bratislava will enter in the second qualifying round, alongside Scottish Premiership runners-up Hearts and 1991 European Cup winners Red Star Belgrade.
They qualified for the Champions League for the first season of its new format in 2024/25, but finished in 35th place out of 36 teams after losing all eight of their group matches.

Bratislava played in this season's Conference League and recorded home wins over BK Hacken and eventual runners-up Rayo Vallecano, but missed out on making the play-off stage in 29th position.
They won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1969, beating Barcelona in the final, and are Slovakia's most successful team.
Former Tottenham and Liverpool striker Robbie Keane had been linked with the vacant role at the Slovak club before Toure agreed terms.
Keane has held discussions over replacing Martin O'Neill as Celtic manager, but has faced significant criticism from the club's fan groups over his decision to stay in charge of Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv during the opening months of Israel's war on Gaza.
Toure's assistant manager choice will have a connection to the Scottish giants, as it is being reported that ex-Celtic, Swansea and Republic of Ireland centre-back Darren O'Dea will be joining the Manchester City legend on his new adventure.
