Pep Guardiola has reportedly taken action after Jack Grealish was linked with a shock move away from Manchester City.
Ever since joining the club for a big fee back in 2021, Grealish has struggled to nail down a regular spot in Guardiola's starting XI.
So far, the 29-year-old has only managed 16 goals in 152 games for the club.
This season, the Englishman has seen his game time limited as he fell behind the likes of Savinho, Jeremy Doku, Omar Marmoush and Phil Foden in the pecking order.

Looking ahead to the summer, Grealish has been linked with a move away from City.
As reported by Give Me Sport, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in signing Grealish.
The report stated: "Jack Grealish’s valuation and ongoing role at Man City are being assessed and the club are expecting suitors to knock at the door this summer, with Tottenham among those most interested parties.
"Tottenham are being linked with a surprise move this summer, and explorations into that have been interesting."
Despite his struggles, Grealish was reportedly given a new role during City's FA Cup win over Bournemouth on Sunday.
Grealish was brought on in the 69th minute, with City winning 2-1 thanks to goals from Erling Haaland and Marmoush.
As reported by The Sun, Guardiola told Grealish 'not worry about the ball as he prepared to enter the fray'.
It has been suggested that Grealish's role was to pull Bournemouth's midfield away from the wide areas.
Journalist Dean Scoggins said: "He was saying 'You make this run and you don't worry about the ball. Now that seems weird, telling Jack Grealish not to worry about the ball.
"But the key is, you take the player away [from the middle of the field] and we'll get joy with Nico O'Reilly. It was a tactical masterclass from Pep at halftime."
Following the win over the Cherries, Grealish wrote on social media: "Was nice to finally be back out there. Away support was incredible… Wembley next."
