Manchester City fans fumed at one player after their dramatic draw against Arsenal in the Premier League.

On Sunday afternoon, the two best teams in the Premier League in recent years went head to head in a mouth-watering clash at the Etihad Stadium.

City went into the lead inside 10 minutes after Erling Haaland scored to equal a record set by Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, the hosts lost Rodri through injury and Arsenal changed the match around.

Riccardo Calafiori scored a beauty to equalise in the 22nd minute before Gabriel Magalhaes made it 2-1 just before half-time.

In the second half, City dominated but found no way through the stubborn Arsenal backline.

However, with seconds left, City found a way through thanks to John Stones.

Reacting to the match, City fans were hugely unhappy with one particular player - defender Kyle Walker.

On social media, one fan said: “If Kyle Walker had no pace, he'd be nowhere near the PL.”

Another tweeted: “Take Kyle Walker out the back of the Etihad and put everyone out of their misery please.”

A third fan added: “We must sell Kyle Walker straight after this game.”

Someone else wrote: “Kyle Walker should never be able to play another game for City again.”

A fifth commented: “Kyle Walker should seriously consider retiring after that embarrassing performance.”

Another fan said: “I have watched Kyle Walker be at fault for 4 goals in his last 3 matches of football this guy is awful.”

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, former Everton midfielder Leon Osman said: “This could be a huge moment in how the Premier League season turns out.

“They have tried to take quick set-pieces all day long and they have caught Arsenal out.”

Meanwhile, Gary Neville said on Sky Sports: "The two best teams in the country.

"Arsenal were so, so close. In a big, big battle today. But the biggest battle is still to come."

Ex-Liverpool man Jamie Carragher added: “What impact will that John Stones goal have on the Premier League title race come May?”
