Erling's transfer value has been named by his agent as details of the Manchester City striker's new deal emerge.

On Friday, Manchester City confirmed that star striker Haaland had penned a record-breaking new deal, extending his time at the club by an incredible nine and a half years.

The 24-year-old is no stranger to smashing records, having scored a 52 goals in all competitions in his first season in England, the biggest-ever tally by a Premier League player.

And amid reports that his new deal has broken several records, Haaland's agent has revealed how much he believes the Norwegian striker is worth in the current transfer market.

City fought off competition from some of the top teams in the world when they pulled off the huge signing of Haaland from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022.

Despite the interest from across the world, City agreed a deal that reportedly saw them pay just £51 million for the striker.

And if he were to leave City now, Haaland's agent Rafaela Pimenta thinks that the prolific goalscorer would demand a transfer fee more than 15 times what City paid.

"One billion," she told Sky Sport in Italy in October 2022 when asked how much her client would be worth in the current transfer market.

"That's what I think, because if you put together his football value, his image value, his sponsor value, it is for sure one billion.

"And if you compare, it's normal to compare Erling [Haaland] with Kylian] Mbappe so you have a little bit of an idea of the market.

"I think Erling will be the first player to achieve a transfer that will be around one billion."

The exact details of Haaland's contract are not yet fully known, however it has widely been reported that the City striker is set to earn over £500,000-a-week as part of his new deal.

Reports also suggest that once bonuses and image right contributions are added, Haaland will 'get close' to Kylian Mbappe's eye-watering salary at Real Madrid which is believed to be around £750,000-a-week.

The Norwegian's new deal makes him by far the highest paid player both in the Premier League and at City, with teammate Kevin de Bruyne in second with a £400,000 per week salary, according to Capology.
