Fans believe there has been a genuine 'mistake' with Bayern Munich star Luis Diaz's new rating for EA FC 27 - but there may be more to it than meets the eye.
EA Sports unveiled the top 27 ratings for both men and women on Monday afternoon, with a number of notable upgrades and downgrades.
Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are the joint highest-rated men's players at 91 overall, while Alexia Putellas holds top spot for women's players at 91 overall.
Mohamed Salah, who held joint top spot for EA FC 26 at 91 overall, has dropped out of the top 27 following his departure from Liverpool, while Ballon d'Or Feminin winner Aitana Bonmati - also 91 last year - has dropped to 90.

Diaz, meanwhile, is one of a number of Bayern Munich stars to receive upgrades after Vincent Kompany's side comfortably won the Bundesliga and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The Colombia winger has gone up from an 85 to an 88 overall after scoring 26 goals and providing 19 assists in all competitions during his debut season with Bayern.
That has been reflected in some of his new stats, with his overall passing attribute up from 76 to 83 and his shooting up from 81 to 82.
But his pace attribute has dropped significantly from 88 down to 82.

In the season he arrived at Liverpool, in January 2022, Diaz had a pace attribute of 92, before that was reduced to 91 and 90 in the seasons that followed.
The 29-year-old registered a top speed of 34.14km/h during the 2025/26 Bundesliga season, according to the league's official website, with the highest recorded by Union Berlin forward Oliver Burke (37km/h).
In the Champions League, meanwhile, he was recorded at 32.9km/h (as per FotMob), which placed him 132nd in the list of all players but ahead of the likes of Nico Williams, Jeremy Doku and Michael Olise.
So while Diaz's pace attribute change may simply have been more of a re-calculation from EA, fans are still not impressed.
"Diaz has less pace than Olise surely that's a mistake right?" one asked.
"In what world has Diaz only got 82 pace?" another wrote.
"I thought his pace was pretty decent, especially with the ball at his feet," a third said.
While a fourth asked: "What has happened to warrant a pace drop on Diaz?"
"Diaz should have 90+ pace," another claimed.
