A mural of Trent Alexander-Arnold has been defaced ahead of Liverpool's clash against Real Madrid.
Alexander-Arnold, 27, will return to Anfield for the first time on Tuesday night following his summer move to La Liga giants Madrid.
Xabi Alonso's men will take on Liverpool at Anfield as the first phase of the UEFA Champions League continues.
The full-back angered Liverpool fans during the 24/25 campaign as speculation over his future dominated the Reds' charge to win the Premier League.

Eventually, Alexander-Arnold confirmed his decision to leave Anfield in May, and was booed during his first match after the announcement.
On Tuesday morning, an image circulated on social media showing the defaced mural of Alexander-Arnold.
The mural, situated on Sybil Road, which is a short walk away from Anfield, featured a reaction from Alexander-Arnold when Liverpool won the Champions League back in 2019.
It said: "I'm just a normal lad from Liverpool, whose dream has just come true."

Speaking when the mural was first revealed, Alexander-Arnold said: "It's not just about the picture, it's important that message is there."
Meanwhile, Reds boss at the time, Jurgen Klopp, added: "I hope it's big enough, that he likes it and he has enough friends and family in Liverpool, who will be so happy with it. I hope they take their pictures in front of it, like what happens with my little drawing. I get a lot of pictures from friends when they visit me in Liverpool and show me they were standing by it, so hopefully he gets that, too. It's nice for him."
However, it has now been defaced with a four-word message, which reads: "Rat, adios el rata."
After Alexander-Arnold's exit was announced, there were rumours that the mural could potentially be replaced.

However, back in May, the Liverpool Echo reported that there were no plans to remove it when the player moves on.
Speaking ahead of his return to Anfield, Alexander-Arnold was quizzed on what welcome he expects from Liverpool fans.
The full-back said to Amazon Prime: "Whatever way I’m received, is the decision of the fans. I’ll always love the club, I’ll always be a fan of the club. I’ll always be thankful for the opportunities and the things we achieved together… they’ll live with me forever.
"No matter what, my feeling won’t change towards Liverpool. I’ve got memories there that will last me a lifetime, and no matter how I'm received, that won’t change."
