Steven Gerrard's analysis of Mohamed Salah's situation at Liverpool has been described as 'perfect' by fans.
Salah was left out of the Reds squad for Tuesday's 1-0 win over Inter Milan at the San Siro after airing his frustrations with Liverpool and manager Arne Slot.
Following Saturday's 3-3 draw at Leeds United, the Egyptian told a Norwegian reporter in the mixed zone that he felt he had been 'thrown under the bus'.
He added: "I think it's very clear that someone wants me to get all the blame."

Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher responded to Salah on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, branding the comments a 'disgrace' and noting that the Reds had made sacrifices for Salah to get the best out of him in forward areas.
"He's a superstar and he's scored 250 goals," he said. "And he's given me, as a Liverpool supporter, some of the greatest nights of my life.
"No matter how good a player you are, you need help from your team-mates, your manager and your fans. And I think it's important he remembers that. It's always 'me, me, me'."
Now, speaking on an episode of TNT Sports' 'The Breakdown', fellow Reds legend Gerrard has given his verdict on the situation.
"He's obviously really upset he's not playing, which I respect," he says. "He wants to help the team, I respect.
"The couple of lines about throwing people under the bus - wrong. He needs to reverse a little bit away from that. He needs to deal with that with the manager.
"This needs Virgil van Dijk to go, 'How are we sorting this out', for the benefit of, not even so much the club or the team, it's the fans.
"I've seen this, and I've lived it. I lived it with Luis Suarez, when he fell out with Brendan [Rodgers, then-Liverpool manager], face-to-face. I've seen it all. I've been there myself from a personal point of view.
"I'd done the Salah statement in 30 seconds against United, when I got sent off. Nobody's perfect. We've all had head losses as players. We've all done emotional things.
"I know in time, when this all calms, Mo will go, 'I shouldn't have said that. I maybe shouldn't have said that. I was a bit emotional, I was a bit hasty'.
"At the end of the day, Liverpool Football Club need Mo Salah back playing well, back scoring goals. Because he is the best player, the best scorer, and he will help them get out of this.
"If this goes on, this is bigger than what we all know and what we see."
Reacting to Gerrard's analysis, one fan wrote: "Perfect answer from Gerrard as expected."
A second said: "This is exactly the person that understands what's going on in Salah's head."
A third added: "Fair play Stevie. Calm, measured response."
While a fourth wrote: "The most reasonable and wise voice over the past few days."
