Mohamed Salah stunned Liverpool fans following his dazzling display against LASK as people online all said the same thing after his showing in the Europa League.

Liverpool opened their European venture with a 3-1 victory over LASK on Thursday.

The Reds had to come from a goal down as Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Salah all got on the score-sheet in the second-half.

The Egyptian forward started the game from the bench but entered the fray in the 74th minute after replacing Ryan Gravenberch, who gave a great insight into Jurgen Klopp's man management skills.

And he made a huge impression on the fixture in Austria, delivering a sensational cameo appearance.

As mentioned above, he scored his side's third goal after tucking away a smart finish inside the box and looked like a constant threat on the right wing.

He was also at his playmaking best, piercing several inviting balls into the box, having bagged two assists in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Wolves last weekend.

His showing against LASK got fans on social media talking as they want the club to hand him a new contract amid reports linking him with a blockbuster move to Saudi Arabia.

During the summer transfer window, Al Ittihad attempted to sign the 31-year-old as they were prepared to make him the league's highest-paid player.

But Liverpool refused to sell their star player, with supporters hoping he lands another contract at Anfield.

One X user wrote: "Ngl they need to renew Salah’s contract."

A second commented: "And there was Liverpool fans on here who'd have sold him this Summer for big money Saudi were offering. Why??? Lad's once in a lifetime player. I hope he finishes his career at Liverpool."

A third added: "Give him a new contract, let him retire here."

A fourth said: "Give him a blank cheque man, let him put whatever numbers he wants and get him to retire here at all costs."

Another chipped in: "Line up his lifetime contract man."

Salah, who is contracted at Liverpool until the end of the 2024/25 season, is enjoying a flying start to the new campaign, having scored three goals and registered four assists in six games.
