Liverpool are 'admirers' of a Premier League star as he emerges as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Salah was strongly linked with a blockbuster move to Saudi Arabia during the summer transfer window, with Al Ittihad prepared to make him the highest-paid player ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

But Liverpool remained firm and refused to sell their star forward. However, The Athletic have looked at a host of potential players who could replace Salah, given his age and contract.

The 31-year-old, who has been at Anfield since 2017 following his switch from AS Roma, is contracted until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Replacing Salah won't be an easy task considering his incredible influence on the team since returning to England following his nightmare spell at Chelsea.

He's scored an impressive 188 goals, inspiring his side to Premier League and Champions League glory.

But it appears Liverpool have been keeping tabs on a player in the Premier League in view to replacing the Egyptian in the future.

Per the report, the Reds are admirers of Jarrod Bowen and have been watching the West Ham United ace 'for a number of seasons'.

The 26-year-old joined the Hammers in January 2020, with the winger becoming a key part of the club's front line.

He's bagged 43 goals for West Ham, scoring 13 goals last season as he helped his team win the Europa Conference League.

Bowen wasn't called up by Gareth Southgate for England's games against Ukraine and Scotland but received his first invitation to the national team in May 2022.

He made his Three Lions debut against Hungary and has four international caps to his name.

Will Liverpool sign Bowen to replace Salah when he eventually leaves? Let us know what you think.
