A European giant has made an 'approach to sign' Mohamed Salah, tabling a mind-blowing offer, according to stunning reports.

Salah has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with his existing deal set to expire at the end of the season.

A move away from Anfield has been mooted as the 32-year-old superstar remains in talks with the club over extending his stay.

Saudi Arabia could be an option if he fails to agree terms with Liverpool, having been regularly linked with a switch to the Middle East over the past 18 months.

Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be eyeing his situation at Liverpool as French journalist Romain Collet Gaudin claims the French team have 'already offered' Salah an extremely lucrative three-year contract.

PSG are reportedly prepared to pay the Egyptian a whopping €500,000-per-week in wages as they look to recruit their first marquee signing since the departure of Kylian Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid last summer.

Liverpool's proposed renewal terms are thought to be lower than what PSG are prepared to offer to Salah, who has a decision to make over his future.

Gaudin states Liverpool have tabled a two-year contract worth €400,000-per-week.

Amid contract rumblings, Salah is enjoying a sensational season, having already bagged 20 goals across all competitions.

He delivered an excellent showing against West Ham United last weekend, scoring and assisting two goals.

After the game, he was asked about his contract saga to which he replied: "We are far away from that.

"I don't want to put something in the media and people start saying stuff, but nothing really has moved on.

"Now I am focused on the team and hopefully we win the Premier League."

Arne Slot paid tribute to the form of Salah, saying: “Mo and the word extraordinary is something I have heard a lot in the last six months. He truly deserves this. He doesn’t surprise us. We know what a player he is and what he is able to do.

"He works really hard aside from that when the opposition team has the ball. I would also add that when he scores the chance is made by other players on the pitch. But when you put him in those positions he is extraordinary.”
