Liverpool supporters are not pleased after hearing what Luis Diaz said in his first press conference since signing for Bayern Munich.
Diaz, 28, completed a £65.5m move to Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich, penning a four-year deal at the Bavarian club.
The 28-year-old’s Liverpool contract was set to expire in 2027. The Colombian winger won four major trophies – Premier League, FA Cup and two League Cups - during his time on Merseyside and scored 41 goals in 148 appearances.
The former Porto man is Bayern’s third most expensive signing of all time, behind Harry Kane and Lucas Hernandez.

And as farewells go, Diaz’s departure from Liverpool was respectful, with head coach Arne Slot saying: “First of all, for the person he was because he always had a smile on his face no matter what, in the year that I've worked with him. I played him a lot, so then maybe it's a little bit more normal to have a smile on your face!
"But even when I didn't play him, he always came out for every training session and gave it everything, with a smile on his face.

"Apart from that, I'm going to miss his song a lot, a lot, a lot as well because it was maybe one of the best songs our fans have for a player.

"And of course, all that he contributed to us winning the league.”
Diaz also explained how he “fulfilled his duty” by winning the league at Liverpool last term.
“I’m very happy to be here in Munich at this great club,” said Díaz in a press conference.

“My first impressions have been very good. I haven't had much time yet, but I've been given a very warm welcome and I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone better."
He added: "I've decided to join Bayern because it's a club that fits with my goals. My expectations are very big, so I wanted to join a big, ambitious club. We want to win everything here, and I want to help the team."
However, some Liverpool fans were not best pleased with his comments and took to social media to give their thoughts.
One said: “Liverpool not big?”

Another added: “So Lucho is saying Liverpool isn't an ambitious club?”
A third explained: “Is he saying Liverpool doesn’t have ambition. The same Liverpool that are having the best transfer window.”
