Liverpool have reportedly agreed personal terms with a second winger as they look to secure another signing alongside Bradley Barcola.
The Reds have been pursuing the signing of Barcola for much of the summer transfer window, having completed an early move for Osasuna winger Victor Munoz.
Since Munoz officially became a Liverpool player on July 1 - he didn't join up with the squad until earlier this month as he was in Spain's World Cup squad - the Reds haven't made another permanent signing ahead of the new Premier League season.
Fabrizio Romano claimed earlier this month that Barcola, 23, had given the 'green light' on personal terms with Liverpool, though the Reds are yet to meet PSG's reported asking price of €145 million (around £124m).

Liverpool paid a club-record £125 million to sign Alexander Isak last summer, and it appears they are not yet willing to match that outlay on another player.
Barcola was not named in PSG's matchday squad for their 1-0 French Super Cup defeat to Lens on Sunday night, however, and manager Luis Enrique declined to comment when asked about the Frenchman's situation.
He told reporters that he 'will speak about the transfer window when it is finished', before walking out of the room.
Liverpool 'agree financial terms' with £42m winger
Significantly, fellow PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye - who has been extensively linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks, was also left out of the squad.
In the cases of both players, they were named as unused substitutes during Wednesday's UEFA Super Cup victory over Aston Villa, making their absences - and Enrique's lack of an explanation - all the more noteworthy.
Now, according to RMC Sport's Fabrice Hawkins, Liverpool have reached an agreement with Mbaye, and have 'agreed on the financial terms of a five-year contract' with the 18-year-old Senegal international.

Hawkins adds that Mbaye has decided that he wants to join Liverpool and does not wish to entertain interest from Bayer Leverkusen, who are also keen on signing him this summer.
The 18-year-old winger is one of PSG's top young talents and made 29 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three goals.
But with Barcola, Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue all ahead of him in the pecking order, Mbaye struggled for regular minutes in the Champions League.

Even if Barcola does join Liverpool, PSG have completed the signings of Ferran Torres and Mika Godts from Barcelona and Ajax respectively to place further uncertainty on Mbaye's position in the squad.
French outlet L'Equipe reported on Friday that Liverpool were preparing to submit a £42 million bid for Mbaye, with PSG looking to recoup some of the combined fee of €105 million they spent on what were described as the 'decisive' signings of Torres and Godts - as well as the €50 million on Monaco attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche.
