Liverpool have been linked with a shock move for Marcus Rashford after he was among five players banished from Manchester United training by Ruben Amorim.
After being unhappy with his performance levels in training back in December, Amorim quickly cast Rashford aside and he was loaned out to Aston Villa until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Rashford returned to United for pre-season after the loan was finished but he, along with unwanted stars Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia, are not allowed to train with the rest of the team and must only arrive at Carrington at 5pm.
The aforementioned quintet have all been told to find new clubs and Liverpool have emerged as a surprise destination for Rashford, a boyhood United fan and academy graduate.

They are also monitoring the situation of Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes but a shock swoop for Rashford has also been discussed and considered, as per the Daily Mail.
